Audio/Video Entry Systems

Audio or video entry systems are commonly used as a way of identifying visitors or staff before permitting them access into a property. They provide a 2 way conversation and optional video image to identify a caller so the occupier can then release a door, gate or barrier via the handset.

Access control can also be added to the entry panel so as to allow staff to enter a code onto a keypad or swipe a proximity card/keyfob to gain access while visitors still use the intercom.

Systems are available with single or multiple call buttons for several occupancy buildings and the entry panel can be either flush or surface mounted. The face plate can be made in a variety of materials and finishes from vandal resistant stainless steel to polished brass.

Video units are available with either a colour or black and white image, the black and white units tend to work better in low light areas.
